Everyone wants to learn English to enrich his chances of success in this fast-paced world. But is it always easy?
Yes!!
It can be easy if you employ the right learning approach. As a student you must be sure as to how and from where to start your learning. You should know your steps to your destiny.
As a teacher of English language I have observed, sentence construction is very important. And to learn sentence construction, students need to be able to learn tenses first.
Now let's see what tense actually is?
Tenses actually Express the relationship between time and actions. All our actions are time specific. From this relationship between time and action we get 3 main types of tenses.i.e, PRESENT, PAST & FUTURE.
To make it easier for the students, I have designed a table that will help students understand all the tenses, their name and important points about tenses.
TENSES
PRESENT TENSE PAST TENSE FUTURE
TENSE
Simple present simple
past Simple
Future
Present continuous Past
continuous Future
continuous
Present perfect Past
perfect Future
perfect
Present perfect continuous past perfect continuous Future perfect continuous
As you can see each of the main 3 tenses has 4 sub-groups.
It is advised students should learn the name of the tenses before learning structures for each tenses (which we will teach you in the next lessons).
